 Winterhook is Redhook’s legendary winter ale, brewed annually since 1984. The malty, roasted and pine'like flavour has hints of stone fruit and caramel with a backbone of Simcoe, Centennial and Chinook hops to give it a crisp, dry, lingering hop presence. Perfect winter warmer for frosty weather at 6% ABV, it means its somewhat sessionable and won't hurt your head should you choose to have a couple. It gets a 3.0 out of 5 on our Beer'o'meter! |  Hint is in the name! It's toasty, burn edge marshmallow malty almost treacle'like dark loveliness is just brilliant. We love it for its slight richness but most of all for that toasty marshmallow and rich dark dried fruit taste. An Imperial March into your mouth. Return of the Marshmallow. It's a steep 9%, so best enjoyed as a ABF (absolute blarrie final)...or as and when you feel! 4.5 out of 5 on our Beer'o'meter! |
